Vengaboys hit Gilligan's in Cairns

Let's face it life has been seeming pretty serious for the past few years, lockdowns, covid, interstate lock outs and whole lists of woes...and whilst rock n roll is great sometimes we just need a simple, joyful night of music and dancing without overthinking it too much.
The Venga bus pulled up to Gilligan's for mid week eurodance mini festival....and it was a lot of fun.
Kicking off with some DJ sets by Reel 2 Real, N-Trance, Alice DJ and an opening set set by Whigfield which was amazing
The Vengaboys hit the stage at 9.30pm which is normally when most of the crowd look like they go to sleep on a Wednesday night...but not tonite because they were here to party.
The set was just pure dance pop fun with a mix of their own hits We Like To Party, Boom Boom Boom and We're Going to Ibiza mixed in with some eqully fun covers.
